EIHL supports unified national governing body proposal

Elite League ready to play its part

The Elite Ice Hockey League welcomes the proposed new national governing body to govern ice hockey in the UK, and supports the unification process currently ongoing.

Having a coordinated approach across the country can only be a good thing for the future of the sport, and the EIHL would look forward to working with the new NGB and opening the channels of communication to ensure we drive our sport forward under a unified approach.

The recent application for government support has shown what can be achieved when we work together for the benefit of the sport, and the EIHL looks forward to playing its part alongside the new structure of governance in UK ice hockey.
