Friday: Clan host Steelers

Glasgow Clan host league leaders Sheffield Steelers on Friday night as Week 20 Elite League action gets under way.

Clan picked up two wins out of three last week to move themselves six points clear of dropping out of the playoffs. They go into this weekend's double-header with the Steelers three points off Scottish rivals Dundee in sixth, but doubtless with one eye on next week's Challenge Cup Semi-Final in Guildford, where they could advance to their first ever final.

The Steelers booked their place in that final earlier this week and now turn back to league action where they're aiming to build on their 14-point lead at the top of the table. Their only road defeat so far this season came in Scotland against Fife, but they have already won two games in Glasgow this season.

Clan's last victory against the Steelers at Braehead Arena was in April 2022.
