Week 27: We're live on Viaplay on Thursday night

It's Week 27 of the 2022/23 Viaplay Elite League season, and we have four days of action coming up for you.

It begins on Wednesday night as Guildford Flames take on Coventry Blaze. The hosts were able to cut the gap on Belfast Giants down to three points thanks to the visitors' win in Belfast on Sunday and while Guildford have actually slipped to third they have two games in hand over the Giants and are currently the best-placed team to overtake them. This is one of their catch-up fixtures.

On Thursday, we're live on Viaplay for Cardiff vs. Manchester. It'll be a special night in Wales as the Devils take to the ice in their special retro jerseys - the Storm will also give theirs a second outing for a full throw-back feeling. Coverage on Viaplay starts at 7pm.

With no further midweek fixtures, our next games come at the weekend. Saturday is dominated by Belfast's trip to Sheffield, a game that could have implications in the league title race. Guildford head to Dundee, while face Coventry. Playoff-chasing Fife welcome Nottingham to Kirkcaldy.

Sunday is no less important, with the day's final game seeing Guildford home to Sheffield. Earlier in the afternoon, the Panthers continue their Scottish road trip with a visit to Dundee, Belfast head over to Manchester, and Coventry play their retro night at home to Fife.
