Vote for your Warrior of January!

Player of the month for January voting open

We're soon back from the IIHF International break to resume action again in the middle of February, but before then we need your votes for the Warrior of the Month award for January.

We've shortlisted four players, and here's why they made it onto our list:

  • Trevor Cox: what it January it was for the Devils forward, who who leads the league with 38 assists so far this season. In the first month of 2023, Cox notched 15 points in eight games, three of which were goals, and was on a seven-game point streak across most of the month.
  • Anthony DeLuca: DeLuca scored nine goals for Manchester Storm over nine games in January, and returned 12 points over that time despite his team only winning three of those fixtures. He has 31 points in 30 league games so far this campaign.
  • Gary Haden: Glasgow Clan's fortunes have gradually turned around and Haden was part of a January that saw them log six wins. He hit a hat trick in a road victory in Fife, and ended the month with 11 points overall.
  • Zack Phillips: Forward Phillips ended January with 10 points from nine games overall, including a goal in the Viaplay Challenge Cup Semi-Final First Leg that has put the Flyers ahead on aggregate against Sheffield. He also netted three league goals over the month.
