Tonight 2 key games in Scotland

There are only two games this Saturday evening with most teams not playing due to the international break - but all four teams involved in the playoff race are in action tonight.

1900 Glasgow Clan vs. Manchester Storm
It's seventh against eighth at intu Braehead tonight with Glasgow and Manchester separated by just a win in the table.

Glasgow will hope to welcome new defenseman Sean Robertson into the lineup for tonight's game, hoping to also turn around a record which has seen them take only 16 points from the last 50 on offer. Clan are only three points clear of the playoff trapdoor and have only one win in their last nine.

Manchester could go level on points with Glasgow if they can earn a regulation win, but more importantly they will at least stay one ahead of Dundee. Over the last 15 games, they've picked up 13 points to bring themselves into the playoff places. Both sides will be missing an Ehrhardt brother on international duty with Team GB.

1915 Fife Flyers vs. Dundee Stars

The two teams sitting outside of the playoff places meet in Kirkcaldy in what could see the Flyers cast adrift if they are unable to get anything out of the game.

Both Fife and Dundee have played more games than the teams they're chasing, but the Flyers are fast running out of games to make up the eight-point game they find themselves trailing the playoffs by. Without a home win since November, the Flyers desperately need to end their longest-ever losing run in the Elite League.

Dundee have won on all of their visits to Kirkcaldy this season and trailing the playoffs by a point makes a visit to the basement side all the more important. With their results in the last 15 games, the Stars are actually a top-six side.
