Three games are on the league schedule in the Motorpoint Elite League on Saturday night, with action in Guildford, Cardiff and Sheffield.
Guildford Flames host Glasgow Clan at 18:00, with the two sides having made contrasting starts to their league campaigns. The Flames opened with an impressive 7-4 home win over Sheffield Steelers and have two points from their only league game so far. Glasgow have played three times in the league but are still looking for their first points. Clan began with a 6-1 home defeat to Sheffield before losing 2-1 in Manchester, and were beaten by the same scoreline when Storm visited Glasgow on Wednesday night.
Cardiff Devils play their first Motorpoint Elite League game of the season when they welcome Manchester Storm to the Vindico Arena at 19:00.
Manchester head into Saturday top of the early standings with four points from three games. After opening their league campaign with a 2-1 home win over Glasgow, Storm were beaten 5-1 in Nottingham before responding with another 2-1 victory over Clan in Glasgow on Wednesday.
Cardiff, meanwhile, have had to wait until October to begin their league campaign, with all of their competitive fixtures so far coming in the Challenge Cup. The Devils won the Cup fixture between the teams last month.
Sheffield Steelers play their first home league fixture of the season when Fife Flyers visit the Utilita Arena at 19:00.
The Steelers have split their opening two league games on the road. They began with a 6-1 victory in Glasgow before going down 7-4 in Guildford three nights later. Saturday will be Fife's first league game of the season. The sides won't have to wait long for their second meeting, with Sheffield travelling to Kirkcaldy to face the Flyers on Sunday evening.
