With pre-season now firmly behind us and a week of competitive games in the bag, Week 2 of the 2026/27 season brings another busy schedule, with all 10 teams in action again.

There are Challenge Cup games across Friday and Saturday before the first Motorpoint Elite League fixtures of the campaign take place on Sunday.

Cardiff Devils and Manchester Storm get the week started on Friday night at the Vindico Arena. The Devils split their opening weekend, beating Guildford before losing by one in Coventry, while Manchester will be looking to get back on the ice after their scheduled home game against Nottingham on Sunday was cancelled due to ice issues.

Saturday then brings five Challenge Cup games. Cardiff are back in action with a trip to Guildford, while Belfast Giants return home for a weekend double-header, with their first home game of the season against Dundee Stars. Coventry welcome Manchester, Fife and Glasgow meet again after their opening-night shootout, and Sheffield host Nottingham in the first meeting of the season between the two rivals.

Sunday sees another four games, including the first Motorpoint Elite League fixtures of 2026/27. Glasgow Clan host Sheffield at 16:00, before Dundee Stars welcome Coventry Blaze at 17:00 as the league campaign gets under way.

There is Challenge Cup action on Sunday too, with Nottingham Panthers hosting Guildford Flames at 16:00 and Belfast Giants facing Fife Flyers at 17:00.
