Manchester Storm came from behind in the third period to secure a big victory in the race for this season's playoffs against Fife Flyers.

Henrik Samuelsson scored the only goal of the opening period, picking his spot nicely at 17:40.

However, Fife turned things around with two goals in just over three minutes in the middle frame. Danick Gauthier tied the scored with 26 minutes played, then on a powerplay it was Carlo Finucci who put the visitors ahead at 29:20.

The Storm battled back in period three with four goals in just over ten minutes. Jared Aulin tied the game at 48:58, and then 58 seconds later Tyson Fawcett had the home fans on their feet as he gave the Storm the lead with the puck deflecting off his skate into the net. Great play from Scott Simmonds saw him turn the puck over and score at 55:11 before Declan Balmer secured the points with an empty-net goal at 59:03.

The win puts Manchester four points clear in the final playoff place, while Fife's losing run continues.
