Week 3: A look ahead

A full set of matches to look forward to this weekend!

We're already three weeks into the new Elite Ice Hockey League season, and have a full schedule of matches coming up this weekend.

Both Belfast and Cardiff return to domestic action after flying the EIHL flag in the Champions Hockey League. The Giants, who recorded four points from their opening Group Stage games, open at home to Glasgow (cup) and then travel to Manchester; while Cardiff start their league season with home games against Guildford (cup) and the Clan, after picking up eight points to top their CHL group so far.

Elsewhere on Saturday Nottingham head to Dundee, Fife to Coventry, and Manchester cross the Pennines for a cup derby with Sheffield.

Sunday brings the visit of Sheffield to Dundee, while the Panthers continue their Scottish double -header against Fife. Guildford also host Coventry (cup).
