The day is finally here, and that could mean one of two things.

For most teams, today marks the final day of pre-season. It is the last chance to experiment before Challenge Cup action begins next weekend and points are on the line.

For Manchester Storm, though, the day means something much bigger.

The Storm will play their first game back at the AO Arena in more than 20 years as they take on Sheffield Steelers, in a fixture set to attract the biggest attendance for a game between two Motorpoint Elite League teams.

That small piece of history begins at 16:00.

Here’s what’s coming up today:

16:00 - Glasgow Clan vs ECDC Memmingen
16:00 - Manchester Storm vs Sheffield Steelers
17:00 - Cardiff Devils vs Nottingham Panthers
17:00 - Fife Flyers vs Dundee Stars
17:30 - Coventry Blaze vs Guildford Flames

Also starting at 16:00, 17:00 local, is Belfast Giants in the final of the Warrior Cup. They take on EHC Red Bull München after beating HC Ambrì-Piotta on Saturday.
