It’s a full Saturday night schedule in Week 23 of the 2025/26 Elite Ice Hockey League season.

There’s a huge double-header waiting this weekend in Nottingham. League leaders Belfast Giants face the Nottingham Panthers in a pair of games at the Motorpoint Arena - matches that could go a long way to deciding which direction the title race heads in. Heading into the weekend, the Giants are four points clear at the top and six ahead of the Panthers.

Second-placed Cardiff Devils host fourth-placed Sheffield Steelers in Wales as both sides try to stay in the mix behind the Giants. The Devils are four points off the pace at the top having played a game more, while the Steelers are a further three back heading into the weekend. Joey Martin will set a new record tonight for the most games played by an overseas player in the Elite League, reaching 612 appearances.

Manchester Storm and Glasgow Clan meet 24 hours after facing each other in Glasgow as they battle for position in the middle of the pack.

Coventry Blaze, midweek winners in the Challenge Cup, welcome Dundee Stars. The Blaze are the league’s form team at the moment and face a Stars side that finds itself 15 points off the pace.

Finally in Fife, Guildford Flames are the visitors to Kirkcaldy to face the Fife Flyers. Fife’s quest for the playoffs sees them needing to make up 18 points with just 16 games to go, while Guildford are now only four points outside the top five.
