Richardson sets new league games played record

Devils defenseman plays 1,178th game

Mark Richardson surpassed Jonathan Phillips' all-time record for games played in the Elite League on Sunday night, playing in his 1,178th EIHL game.

Phillips was invited especially to congratulate Richardson on his achievement, where he was presented with an award on behalf of the Elite League.
