Guildford came from behind in Manchester three times before winning Wednesday night's game in overtime.

Cameron Critchlow gave Manchester a lead in the thirteenth minute, but Guildford were level by 14:15 through Brett Ferguson. Henrik Samuelsson put the hosts back ahead 42 seconds later to ensure the Storm led by a goal after 20 minutes.

Jordan Abt got Guildford level again just shy of the halfway point in the game, but once again the Storm were quickly back ahead - just 17 seconds this time between that goal and Scott Simmonds putting Manchester into a 3-2 lead. Jamie Crooks tied things up at 32:05 and with no goals in the next 28 or so minutes the game was decided in overtime where ben Davies was left unmarked at the back post to slot home from Ferguson's feed.
