Hunt suspended for one game

Flyers forward receives suspension

The Elite League's Department of Player safety has automatically fined and suspended Fife Flyers #74 Garet Hunt for being assessed a fighting aggressor, major and mandatory game misconduct during the final five minutes of League Game 18 between Fife Flyers and Belfast Giants on 19 October 2025.

The incident will be recorded on the player's record for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

Rule 46 - Fighting: Fines and Suspensions (as per EIHL Casebook):
(1) Instigator/Aggressor in Final Five Minutes of Regulation Time (or Anytime in Overtime)

• A player who is deemed to be the instigator/aggressor of an altercation in the final five (5) minutes of regulation time or at any time in overtime shall be suspended for one additional game, pending a review of the incident.

Effective immediately Fife Flyers #74 Garet Hunt is fined and suspended for one game.
