As we head into teams' second game of this Christmas week, who's on form in the Elite League?

Sheffield's Brendan Connolly is, by some distance, still the hottest player in the league. The Steelers forward has scored at least a point in his last 18 games! That run stretches back to 27 October. The Yorkshire side also have Marc-Olivier Vallerand on a six-game streak with seven goals in his last five.

Panthers duo Sam Herr and Brian Connolly come next with points in their last eight and six games respectively for Nottingham. Cardiff forward Mike McNamee saw his 12-game run snapped during the Boxing Day win in Guildford.

With goalies, it's Tomáš Duba who leads the way. In his last five games the Czech has stopped 96.13% of the shots he's faced including two shutouts. At 92.68% Shane Owen is the next best, while Travis Fullerton on 92.20% is third.
