Panthers to host new-look IIHF Continental Cup Final

Nottingham Panthers will host a new-look IIHF Continental Cup Final in mid-January.

Under the new format, the Panthers are now automatically qualified to the final and no longer need to go through a qualifying round in November. They're joined in the final by GKS Katowice (Poland), Torpezo (Kazakhstan), and Herning Blue Fox (Denmark). 

The top two teams from November's round, hosted in Angers in France, will join them. The first round will take place in October, split across groups in Lithuania and Romania. Click here for more information.
