Glasgow Clan and Dundee Stars played out a 13-goal game with 13 different scorers on Friday night at Braehead Arena in front of more than 3,500 fans.

Clan, wearing their retro jerseys, raced into a four-goal first period lead. Ryan Valentini turned the ouck over in his own zone to Philippe Sanche, who in turn fed Mike Pelech to open the scoring just 79 seconds in. Things got worse for the visitors when Gary Haden doubled Clan's lead at 7:18 with a shot through traffic in the slot. Jake bolton and Matt Barry both got themselves on the scoresheet by the 16-minute mark to see Lucas Brine beaten four times in the first period.

Sanche scored against his former team 3:07 into period two although Anthony Rinaldi got Dundee on the board some three and a half minutes later. Another ex-Star, Charlie Combs, and then Dyson Stevenson, netted 45 seconds apart to put the home side 7-1 ahead with only 32 minutes played.

Heading into the final period six goals behind, you'd have been forgiven for thinking the Stars were done. Elijah Vilio pulled it back to 6-2 with 11 minutes to before momentum swung in the visitors' favour. Spencer Naas beat Antti Karjalainen from the slot on the 53-minute mark, with Chris McKay and then Drydn Dow bringing Dundee back to only two behind with 90 seconds left. Robert Lachowicz slotted into the empty net with two seconds left to add a little extra gloss to the final scoreline.
