Saturday: Four games as things get serious

It's a four-game Saturday night in Week 26!

Belfast Giants host Guildford Flames for the second time inside 24 hours in part two of their weekend double header. Friday's win put the Giants eight points clear in third, while other results saw the Flames slip to fifth. The Flames have just two wins from their last 13 games played.

Second placed Cardiff Devils host Fife Flyers at another sold-out Vindico Arena hoping to keep their faint title hopes alive. The Devils effectively need to win out from now until the end of the season, and hope that Sheffield lose a large number of their remaining games, to be crowned league champions. Fife moved into a playoff place with a midweek win in Nottingham, but the Panthers defeat in Dundee on Friday saw them fall back out.

Manchester Storm head up to Glasgow a day after moving into fourth place in the league. They face a Clan side that is six points behind them and hoping to keep that place in the playoffs, holding now just a two-point advantage over Fife. Clan have picked up at least a point in their last four games, while Storm have won six of their last seven games.

League leaders Sheffield Steelers host old rivals Nottingham Panthers for the final time at Utilita Arena this season, just a few days after listing the Challenge Cup trophy. The Steelers need five more wins to take the league title, while the Panthers have had a bad week with a pair of losses against teams around them in the race for a playoff place.
