Friday: Clan face leaders

Glasgow Clan host Sheffield Steelers on Friday night at Braehead Arena, and head into the game with something to their name that few other teams have this season.

The Clan are one of less than a handful of teams that have beaten the Steelers this season, doing so on the road 2-1 in November. Tonight they are aiming to be the first team to win a home game against the Steelers this season - Sheffield have won every road game they've played so far this season, in both league and cup.

The league's top powerplay, Glasgow at 30.51%, will come up against the top penalty kill (Steelers at 87.50%) in this fixture. But while the Steelers' powerplay sits second at 26.09%, Clan's penalty killing is only good for seventh overall with 75.64%. 

Both sides were winners midweek - the Steelers thrashed second-placed Cardiff Devils 5-1 in Wales, while the Clan beat Dundee on penalty shots.
