Nottingham Panthers and Guildford Flames together with Glasgow Clan and Coventry Blaze, will face each other twice in the space of 24 hours this weekend as we return to league action in Week 13 of the 2023/24 Elite League season.

The Flames were midweek Challenge Cup winners over Fife Flyers to book their place in the Semi-Finals and head to Nottingham as one of the league's form teams with four straight wins under their belts. Hosts Nottingham have lost their last three in a row as thy try to climb the table with a number of games in hand on other teams. The Panthers won the only meeting between the teams in a shootout earlier this season. Guildford added Ryan Hughes to their Injured Reserve list on Friday.

In Glasgow, Clan are back on home ice after an excellent midweek win in Cardiff that saw them head into the Challenge Cup Semi-Finals. That result was Clan's first win of the season over the Devils, and Coventry, meanwhile, tied their Quarter-Final first leg 1-1 with Belfast. Over the last 15 league games, these two teams are in the EIHL's top four form sides - Clan have picked up 19 points out of a possible 30, while Coventry, who are on a six-game unbeaten streak, have notched 17 points from the last 30 on offer in the league.
