Sunday: Top three all in action

Three games bring Week 12 to a close, starting this evening at 5pm, 5.15pm, and 5.30pm respectively.

Glasgow Clan and Cardiff Devils meet for the second time this week, and will do so again in the cup on Wednesday, but this time for league points. The Devils edged their midweek cup Quarter-Final first leg 4-3, and stayed in Scotland to beat Dundee 4-2 on Saturday night. Clan haven't played since that midweek fixture, but come into this off the back of three straight league wins which have moved them into third.

If Fife Flyers are to end their five-game losing run, they'll have to do it the hard way on Sunday night against league leaders Sheffield Steelers. Tom Coolen's team slipped to the foot of the Elite League table after Saturday's shutout defeat in Manchester, and at -41 have the worst goal difference of any team in the EIHL. Sheffield came back from two down against Guildford before losing in a shootout as their lead at the top was cut to two points.

With four straight wins, Coventry Blaze are the hottest team in the league at the moment, and they could make it five with their second home game of the week. An overtime win over Belfast lifted the Blaze out of last place, and they now face a Nottingham team tied with them on 15 points. The Panthers were beaten in Belfast on Friday night, their only other game so far this week.
