Glasgow Clan gave up a 3-1 lead but ended their week with a win thanks to a Jake Bolton overtime goal to beat Manchester Storm 4-3 on Sunday. Storm took a point in the final game of their Scottish road trip in front of over 3,400 fans at Braehead Arena.

Luke Lynch opened the scoring with 4:15 played in front of a near sell-out crowd. Eight minutes later, Clan doubled their lead thanks to a nice change of speed from Darien Craighead creating the room for him to fire high past Evan Weninger. Lynch  rang a shot off the opened the scoring with 4:15 played in front of a near sell-out crowd. Eight minutes later, Clan doubled their lead thanks to a nice change of speed from Darien Craighead creating the room for him to fire high past Evan Weninger. Cam Critchlow pulled one back for Storm at 15:30 to make it a one-goal game again. Lynch crossbar as Clan came back up the ice on the very next shift, while Weninger denied Gary Haden a far-post tap-in shortly before the end of period buzzer sounded.

Clan pushed on in period two and eventually their pressure told. An excellent passing play saw Craighead feed Gary Haden for the back post finish to convert a powerplay at 32:22 and put the hosts 3-1 up. Looking in control the home side were pegged back at 35:48 off a mistake by netminder Antti Karjalainen, whose attempted pass was cut out by Mitchell Martan and fired straight into his net.

Manchester rode that momentum into the third period and levelled 3:22 in thanks to Andreas Heier with the neat finish. Clan did well to come out of that five-minute spell still on level terms, but at the other end Jordan Cownie was only denied setting up Lynch for a certain goal by an excellent Zach Sullivan stick.

Overtime was needed with the teams tied at 3-3 after 60 minutes, and it was Jake Bolton who fired the winner through Weninger's glove hand to earn Clan the extra point.
