Friday: Devils begin Continental Cup quest

Cardiff Devils are in Grenoble this weekend for the Semi-Final stage of the 2024 IIHF Continental Cup.

The Devils will face Nomad Astana of Kazakhstan in their opening game, before coming up against the hosts, the Brûleurs de Loups, and Zemgale of Latvia. The top two teams advance to the finals in January.

Nomad have won their last five games in the Kazakh league and sit third with 36 points from 26 games played so far, six points off the top two of Arlan Kokshetau (Belfast Giants' opponents in 2019) and Humo Tashkent of Uzbekistan. 

Friday's game starts at 3pm UK time (4pm local).
