Panthers withdraw from Challenge Cup

Statement from Nottingham Panthers

Nottingham Panthers will withdraw from the 2023/24 Challenge Cup and take no further part in the competition this season, the club has confirmed on Wednesday evening.

The following games are therefore no longer taking place:

• CC29 Nottingham Panthers vs. Manchester Storm (originally Sunday 29 October)
• CC34 Nottingham Panthers vs. Manchester Storm (Saturday 18th November)
• CC36 Sheffield Steelers vs. Nottingham Panthers (Saturday 25 November)

The Panthers, and, the Elite League, would like to thank fans again for their support at this difficult time and will provide a fresh update about fixtures in the coming days, including details about the postponed league games and rearranged dates.

As the qualifiers for the Challenge Cup Quarter-Finals were previously agreed to be determined by Points Percentage, the above games will be removed from the schedule and not awarded.
