Wednesday: Panthers could go joint top

Nottingham Panthers meet Fife Flyers for the first time in the 2023/24 on Wednesday night, with faceoff at 7.30pm at the Motorpoint Arena.

Despite a more frustrating start in the Challenge Cup, with three defeats including two to rivals Sheffield, Nottingham Panthers' league form to begin the new season has been excellent. Jonathan Paredes has seen his side pick up five wins from six games, and they sit in second place. A win for the Panthers tonight would put them joint-top of the table with Sheffield.

Fife find themselves in the middle of the pack with five points from four games thus far. Sunday's 5-0 defeat in Sheffield was their first league loss in regulation time. In the cup, they finished with a .500 record from six games and are in an excellent position to qualify for the next round.
