Week three of the 2023/24 Elite Ice Hockey League season's weekend action begins with six teams looking for league points on Saturday.

Starting at 6pm, Guildford Flames host Belfast Giants in what is the Flames' fifth straight home game - they've beaten Coventry, but lost to Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield over that stretch. For the visiting Giants, it is their first league fixture of the season after having only played up games to date. They're on the road on Sunday as well before returning home for a crucial Champions hockey League fixture on Tuesday.

Glasgow host Coventry in a fixture where both teams are looking for their first league win of the season. Clan have played just one league fixture so far and lost in Cardiff, while the Blaze have only an OT point in Sheffield to show from their two league fixtures to date. This game will pit former Blaze player Alex Forbes up against his old side, having transferred to Glasgow in the summer after five seasons in Coventry.

After a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of rivals Sheffield last weekend, Nottingham Panthers return home following a road win in Guildford the day after that defeat. Pressure is on Jonathan Paredes' team to deliver a performance in front of their own fans after that heavy loss. They play a Cardiff team that hasn't found the Motorpoint Arena a happy hunting ground in recent seasons - excluding Playoff Finals Weekend fixtures, the Devils have won just two of their last 10 fixtures in Nottingham.
