It's Challenge cup action for six teams on Saturday night in Week 2 of the 2023/24 season.

The day's early start is in Guildford at 6pm where the Flames take on Coventry Blaze. Both sides face the same opposition last week - Guildford were beaten in Cardiff and by Sheffield in their opening two games of the season, while Coventry took an OT point on the road against the Steelers before a home win over the Devils for a solid start.

In Nottingham, the Panthers welcome Sheffield Steelers to the Motorpoint Arena as both sides contest action in Group C of the cup. The Panthers have a 100% record in the cup so far after last weekend's road victory in Manchester, while the Steelers won both of their fixtures on opening weekend across both competitions. It's been five straight games since the Panthers beat the Steelers in regulation in Nottingham, dating back to March 2022.

The evening's later start is in Kirkcaldy where Belfast Giants are the guests of Fife Flyers. Belfast finished last season's cup group stage with a 100% record, and are 50% of the way there after a pair of wins over Dundee last week, and last night's victory over Glasgow. Fife began their cup campaign with defeat in Glasgow, but bounced back to thrash Clan 5-1 the following night in the Auld Barn.
