Saturday: League points on the line in Cardiff and Manchester

It's league points on offer in Cardiff and Manchester on Saturday evening with the Devils hosting Glasgow Clan in Wales, and Storm welcoming Dundee Stars to Altrincham.

Cardiff and Glasgow know each other relatively well already after having contested a two-game pre-season season at the Vindico Arena. The Devils won both of those games as part of a six-game unbeaten streak during pre-season; to start the season they were winners over Guildford but lost in Coventry - both cup fixtures. Clan had a split series with Fife Flyers on opening weekend as they look for their first road points of the season. Glasgow have not won in Cardiff since April 2022 (Playoffs), their only victory in their last ten visits.

In Manchester, Storm host Dundee looking for their second league win in as many games to start 2023/24. Matt Ginn's team were beaten at home in the cup to open their season, but an excellent road victory in Nottingham put them up to second in the league at this early stage. Marc LeFebvre's Stars team are looking for their first points of the season after two cup defeats to Belfast last week. Manchester haven't won a home fixture since March 2023, while Dundee lost all three visits to the Storm Shelter last season.
