The Giants won both games in a home and home with Dundee last weekend, scoring 10 goals in the process and conceding just three. Adam Keeve's team come out of opening weekend with a 100% penalty kill record, 25% on the powerplay themselves, and averaged 36 shots over both games. Quinn Preston hit three goals, and Ara Nazarian leads the Challenge cup for points with five in those two games.

Hosts Clan beat Fife in Braehead six days ago before losing in Kirkcaldy the following night. Jason Morgan's men converted 12.5% of their powerplay chances and killed off just over 92% of penalties against them, but scored and conceded five goals across the two games.

Clan's last home win over the Giants was in last season's playoffs, with Belfast having won five straight fixtures in Glasgow prior to that game.
