It's finally here!

The 2023/24 Elite League season starts tonight, and in the next 30 or so weeks we’ve got ten teams playing to settle the League championship, Challenge Cup, and Playoff title.

Defending all three of those trophies are Belfast Giants, who have the honour of getting the season under way with the visit of Dundee Stars to the SSE Arena. The Giants’ last competitive game was a 4-0 win over Bolzano in the Champions Hockey League earlier this month, while they played a two-game exhibition series with Glasgow Clan last weekend that resulted in a win each. Belfast confirmed yesterday that forward Elijiah Barriga will be out for the season, and added former Coventry Blaze forward Johnny Curran to their roster.

This game is available to watch live online!

Dundee head into Belfast with new Head Coach Marc LeFebvre taking charged of his first EIHL game since 2017. The Stars enjoyed a split pre-season series with Fife Flyers before facing Brasov and Tilburg last weekend. Dundee have not won in Belfast since November 2021, their only victory from their last ten visits.
