The final weekend of pre-season saw five games across Sunday evening.

Dundee Stars were unable to follow up their big win over Brasov and fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Tilburg Trappers. Johnny Walker gave the Stars the lead inside seven minutes, but nice individual work from D'Artagnan Joly tied the game with 49 seconds left in the opening period. Mikko Virtanen then put the Trappers ahead at 32:01 after a middle period that Starts Head Coach Marc LeFebvre was must unhappy with. The hosts were unable to find a tying goal despite playing with an empty net for the final 40 seconds.

Fife flyers slipped to a 5-3 defeat to Brasov in their second game of the weekend. Despite taking the lead through Troy Lajeunesse after two minutes, Judd Blackwater and Chase Schaber put the visitors ahead by the end of the period. Schaber struck against at 24:37, and although Aleksi Mäkelä got one back for the Flyers they were back two behind when Connor Sills won a foot-race and flicked the puck over Shane Owen. Mátyás Kovács made it 5-2 with 24 seconds left in the middle period, and although Collin Shirley got one back for the hosts with seven minutes to go, that was as close as they got back into the game.

Nottingham Panthers put four past Coventry Blaze for the second consecutive night as they took a three-goal win at the Skydome. Westin Michaud got the final touch of a loose puck for the lead at 10:10, before Mathieu Lemay gave the Panthers a two-goal lead after the opening period. Alexander Lunsjö scored on the breakaway at 24:35, but that goal seemed to wake up the Blaze who responded 11 seconds later when Archie Hazeldine's fade shot and pass allowed Jack Hopkins to deflect home - both players facing their former team. Didrik Henbrandt made it 4-1 at 30:50 which was the last goal of the game.

After a 10-goal game in Manchester 24 hours earlier, it was a quieter affair between Guildford and Manchester on Sunday night where Eamon McAdam stopped all 33 shots he faced to record a shutout as the Flames beat the Storm 4-0. Kyle Locke slapped home the opener from the point at 5:13, while Sam Talbot made it two just 18 seconds into period two. Logan Fredericks took his shorthanded breakaway goal nicely for the three-goal lead at 29:02, and then added his second of the night off a pass into the slot from Talbot 35 seconds into the third. That was how things stayed until the final buzzer, with the Flames having scored ten goals against the Storm over five periods.

Cardiff Devils and Sheffield Steelers played out another enthralling, one-goal game, but this time in front of a sellout crowd at the Vindico Arena in Wales. Patrick Watling opened the scoring at 17:32, with the Devils thinking they'd tied it up early in the second only for the goal to be ruled out on a Coach's Challenge for Ben Davies' interference on Matt Greenfield. Ryan Barrow did level the scores at 28:01, and just over a minute later Kevin Tansey was ejected for Charging after a clumsy hit along the boards. Cole Sanford wristed home to put the hosts ahead on the resulting man advantage, and 70 seconds before the period was over a mishandle of the puck by Greenfield resulted in Cole Ully teeing up Jamie Arniel for the 3-1 lead. An excellent individual goal from Watling brought the Steelers back to within one at 48:56, an they were deservedly level with 7:56 to play through Kameron Kielly. In overtime, Mikko Juusola circled the Devils' zone twice before setting up Scott Allen for the game's winning goal.
