Experienced forward Adam Johnson has swapped the Panthers of Augsburg for the Panthers of Nottingham for season 2023/24.

The 29-year-old scored seven goals in 45 DEL appearances last campaign, collecting 15 assists along the way. From 2018-2020, he played 13 NHL games in Pittsburgh with a goal and three assists on his record.

Johnson has also had a spell in the SHL, but has played the majority of his career int he AHL - clocking up over 250 appearances and logging 137 points.

"Adam is an extremely fast player and has great offensive upside. He creates space for team-mates from his speed," began Head Coach Jonathan Paredes. "He is a player that we feel with the team we are building fits perfectly with his speed and experience.

"We have looked at many guys that played at high levels but the one thing that sticks out is he's still at a good age and very determined to have a big season. He's a player that sees the ice very well. There was obviously some high interest in Adam in Europe and we are extremely happy he joined the club."
