16-year-old Connor Lee has signed his first professional contract and will be a Manchester Storm player for 2023/24.

The Storm Academy graduate has been with the organisation since junior level, and last season scored 43 points in just 13 games for the Storm's U16 team. He also hit 55 points in 15 appearances for Solway U16s in Scotland.

"I’m excited to sign Connor to three-year contract," revealed Head Coach Matt Ginn. He is a very good and promising prospect with a bright future ahead of him.

"Connor is a big body that skates well and is hungry to develop and improve his game. Connor is a great kid and I’m looking forward to working with him as he learns the pro game."

Lee added: "I’ve always thanked coaches for all the help they’ve given me and I’d like to thank them again now for helping me to get to this point in my career – and thank you to Matt and to Ryan (Finnerty, GM) for giving me this opportunity."
