Lemay joins Panthers

Forward Mathieu Lemay is the latest addition to Nottingham Panthers' rosters for the new season.

The 28-year-old joins the Panthers after three seasons in the DEL2 with Eispiraten Crimmitschau where he scored 61 goals and 82 assists for 143 points in 126 matches.

In 2020/21, he led the German side in goals (31), assists (37) and points (68) before following-up with two more free-scoring campaigns. A year prior, the winger hit 85 points while at Sterzing/Vipiten in the Alps League in his first European stop.

 "Mathieu is a dynamic player that has a great scoring ability. He is a player that we feel will adjust well to the league with his speed, work ethic and shot," explained Head Coach Joanthan Paredes. "His separation from defenders is very impressive and he's a player that fits perfectly with our philosophy."
