American forward Luke Lynch has joined Glasgow Clan for season 2023/24.

The 27-year-old heads to the purple army from Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL for whom he scored 17 goals and assisted on 30others for 47 points last season in 71 games. The previous season, he ended with 33 points from 56 starts.

Prior to the pandemic, Lynch spent four seasons at Robert Morris University where he put up 105 points in 155 NCAA games.

"I’m delighted to welcome Luke to Glasgow and he’s a right shot centreman which gives us great depth down the middle," began Head Coach Jason Morgan.

"He plays a gritty two-way game and is a very hard worker, plus he possesses good playmaking ability as well as a good shot.

"Luke is also a player who adds leadership to the team, and we welcome him to the Clan hockey family."
