Saturday: Playoff chase on for Clan and Flyers

It's all about grabbing that final playoff place for Glasgow Clan and Fife Flyers as both sides enter the penultimate weekend of the 2022/23 Viaplay Elite League season.
A win for Clan at home to Nottingham Panthers could clinch them that playoff berth - that is if the Flyers lose in Cardiff. Tonight is Clan's final home game of the regular season with a visit to Sheffield next week rouning out their fixtures. The Panthers arrive in Glasgow hoping to end a terrible run of four straight losses.

Fife Flyers know they could be eliminated from playoff contention tonight, and failing to pick up any points in Cardiff will leave them with an uphill task to make the post-season regardless of the result in Glasgow. The Flyers have won just one of their last six games, while the Devils are hoping to end a two-game losing streak at home. On both of their visits to Ice Arena Wales this season, the Flyers have conceded seven goals in defeat, and haven't won in Cardiff since November 2018.
