Friday: Storm and Blaze still looking for position

Manchester Storm host Coventry Blaze on Friday night in the teams' final league meeting of the season.

Storm's four-point weekend last time out edged them closer to securing sixth overall in the Viaplay Elite League - a finish that would be their highest since 2018. Manchester have the tie-break advantage on Nottingham below them in the event the teams finish level on points - they'll play each other twice before the regular season is done.

Coventry come into the Storm Shelter off the back of a home defeat to Guildford midweek where they led twice. That was the Blaze's second straight home defeat, but on the road they are unbeaten in five games and haven't lost in Manchester yet this season.
