Peter Crinella hit three goals to help Guildford to a 5-2 road win in Dundee, as the Flames came back from 2-1 down to move onto 70 points for the season.

The Flames led after 20 minutes at the Dundee Ice Arena with 12:54 played. On a 2-on-1 rush, Logan Fredericks fired high past Brython Preece to put the visitors ahead, but as the period grew on Dundee were unlucky to not to get back into the game, Craig Garrigan having one of their better chances but only finding the frame of the net.

Dundee came out fast in period two and were level just 60 seconds into things through former Flame Johan Eriksson. After having some good spells to go ahead, the Stars did then take the lead thanks to Drydn Dow at 35:42 while some eyes were on an incident at the other end of the ice that had the Flames on a delayed penalty. That lead, however, lasted less than a minute with Peter Crinella firing a huge one-timer past Preece to tie it at 36:38. A scramble in front of the net then saw Daniel Tedesco putting the Flames back ahead with 2:24 left in the period.

Preece made a string of excellent stops to keep the Stars just a goal behind, but he could do nothing about Crinella putting the Flames 4-2 ahead with 2:34 to play. He completed his hat trick on the empty net on the empty net with just over 100 seconds to play to round off an important victory for Guildford.
