Saturday's Viaplay Elite League schedule brings us two games in Scotland as Dundee and Fife play hosts to Guildford and Nottingham respectively.

After a disappointing midweek home defeat to Coventry, Guildford Flames head up to Dundee Stars knowing two points are almost essential if they're to keep their league title hopes alive. The Flames trail leaders Belfast Giants by three points with a game in hand, and will face fourth-placed Sheffield Steelers on Sunday. The Flames have not lost to any Scottish opposition this season. Dundee are in need of points quickly if they're to have any chance of making the playoffs. The Stars are eight points off the pace with 10 games to go, although do have some games in hand still to make up.

In Kirkcaldy, playoff-chasing Fife Flyers welcome Nottingham Panthers who are hoping to hold onto sixth place overall. The hosts have a good record against the Panthers this season, but go into this weekend's fixtures three points off a playoff place with only seven fixtures remaining - they do, however, have three games in hand on Glasgow above them. Nottingham arel locked in a fight for sixth with Manchester, with the Panthers having played one game fewer. Corey Neilson's side have won three of their last four games.
