Wednesday: It's Challenge Cup Final Day!

The first trophy of the season will be won tonight

Can Belfast Giants win back-to-back Viaplay Challenge Cups, or will Fife Flyers become the first Scottish team to win an Elite League trophy? We'll find out tonight live from 7pm!

The 2023 Viaplay Challenge Cup Final will take place in front of a SOLD-OUT crowd at the SSE Arena in Belfast. The majority will be hoping to see Adam Keefe's side retain the title they won against Cardiff in overtime last season. The Giants knocked out Nottingham Panthers and Guildford Flames to get this far.

Fife Flyers made history by becoming the first Scottish team to reach a final in the EIHL and are themselves aiming to win the club's first silverware since winning the Northern League in 2011. They edged local rivals Dundee Stars and then Sheffield Steelers, both on penalty shots, to make the final and will be backed by some 600 travelling fans.

Pre-game build-up begins at 6:15pm on Viaplay! We'll have interviews from morning skate coming up later today, and also keep your eyes on our social media channels for extra coverage.
