Friday: Flyers host Storm live on Viaplay

It's Friday night hockey, and it's live on Viaplay as Fife Flyers welcome Manchester Storm back to Kirkcaldy this evening.

The sides met on Sunday and if that game is anything to go by, tonight should be another cracker. Fife took the points that night in a shootout after tying the game late, but Jeremy Brodeur made a string of highlight-reel saves in the Storm net to keep his team ahead until the closing stages.

This game has a lot riding on it in the race for a playoff place. Fife can go into the top eight with a win tonight in a game that is one of their three in hand on Glasgow Clan who sit eighth. Manchester could end the night sixth with any road points here, overtaking Nottingham Panthers in the process.

These two teams are separated by only four league points, and on average give up the most shots per game in the EIHL. Fife have one of the league's best penalty kills at 91.89%, while Storm at 19.61% have the league's sixth-highest powerplay.
