Flyers hoping to end long drought in Belfast

Fife Flyers head to Belfast this Thursday evening hoping to end a long run of winless visits to the SSE Arena.

The Flyers have not tasted victory in Belfast since September 2018, a run stretching back 12 straight games. Todd Dutiaume's team picked up an overtime point in September of this year which is their only point on the road in Belfast since that previous win. They split their Christmas series with Dundee with a home win each.

Belfast come out of their festive double against Glasgow Clan with a pair of wins, although had to come from 3-1 down to do it in Scotland on Boxing Day. It means the Giants have won three straight games at home and have only lost two of their last nine on their own ice. In league play, they've won five straight.
