Nottingham Panthers logged their first regulation win of the season with a 6-2 home victory over Dundee Stars on Friday night.

The home side were on the front foot from the off and took the lead inside 90 seconds - Adam Brady tapping in Brett Welychka's pass at the back post with 1:24 played.

A giveaway from Anton Svensson behind his ow et led to Jeremy Welsh making it 2-0 at 13:15, and just over three minutes later Welychka tipped Brady's feed for a 3-0 lead.

Things got no better for the visitors in period two, with Taner Sorenson finishing off a passing move in close at 23:16, while Craig Puffer deflected Welsh's shot in front 9:44 into period three to make it 5-0. Fabrizio Ricci and Elijah Barriga got on the board for Dundee inside the final ten minutes, before Welsh capped the Panthers' win with their sixth at 58:16.
