Three goals inside the final ten minutes saw Belfast Giants pick up a 4-1 road victory in Dundee on Sunday night.

The start of this Premier Sports Challenge Cup fixtures was delayed by some 90 minutes due to delays on the Ferry bringing the Giants to Scotland, but when things did get going they were feisty throughout.

David Gilbert put Belfast ahead at 30:31 off a Ben Lake pass with the former being left all alone in the slot to finish. A little over a minute later, Philippe Sache levelled things on the powerplay and that's how things stayed until the closing stages.

Colin Joe was penalised for shooting the puck over the glass with 9:20 to play, and at 51:34 David Goodwin came in at the back post to convert Mark Cooper's pass and put the visitors ahead. Patient hands from Scott Conway beat Anton Svensson to make it 3-1 at 56:29, with the GB international adding the Giants' fourth 35 seconds later to put them out of sight.
