Four preseason games took place on Saturday night as the countdown to the new season draws ever closer.

Guildford Flames came back from three goals down in Manchester to beat the Storm 4-3 in what was Paul Dixon's team's first exhibition game this off-season. Sam Marklund scored two, followed by Brett Ferguson and Daniel Tedesco with the game-winner 2:12 from the end of regulation.

Brett Neumann's goal after 25 seconds turned out to be the only one in 60 minutes at the FlyDSA Arena as Sheffield beat Coventry 1-0.

In Glasgow, despite Craig Peacock putting Clan ahead inside seven minutes, goals from Elijah Barriga ad Fabrizio Ricci put Dundee into a lead they would not surrender on the road against their Scottish rivals. Hugo Reinhardt, Barriga again, Drydn Dow and Ryan Verrier all got on the scoresheet to help the Stars to a 6-3 win.

Finally, Cardif Devils completed a 4-2 road win in Nottingham thanks to a pair from Trevor Cox, and individual tallies from Josh Brittain ad Ryan Penny. Jorda Kelsall and Andrew Johnston added late goals for the Panthers.
