Saturday's pre-season action saw big wins for the Belfast Giants and Cardiff Devils, while the Sheffield Steelers came from behind to earn a shootout victory.

Mike Hammond opened the scoring just 52 seconds in. and although Adam Raska cancelled that goal out, Adam Brady had the Panthers back ahead at 11:50. Martin Latal levelled for the Steelers, but Stephen Andersen and Matthew Myers both netted before the first intermission to give the Panthers a 4-2 lead.
