The Glasgow Clan celebrated their second win of the week with a road victory in Coventry in what was their third game in five days.

After a couple of chances at each end, including an excellent look that Matt Haywood wasn't able to convert, the game sprang into life with two goals in just over a minute. Glasgow went ahead at 18:14 when Quinn O'Brien's shot took a deflected, bounced high, and was eventually bundled into the net by Haywood. Coventry, however, hit straight back with Ryan Finny wristing home from the slot using the defenseman as a screen 69 seconds later.

Glasgow were back ahead 4:28 into period two with Cody Sol's laser from the blueline finding it's way through. Things got better for the visitors 27:45. HarrY Ferguson jumped out of the penalty box and was set nicely on the breakaway, but his fake and short side finish was sublime for his first Clan goal.

Coventry got back into things after a series of Clan penalties gave them an extended 5-on-3 advantage, anf it was Luke Ferrara who fired home the one-timer at 31:33 to make it 2-3. Colin Campbell was put into the boards by David Clements and taken off injured before the period was out, but no call was made on the play.

A one-goal game going into period three, Clan wasted no time in shoring up their lead. Broke Beukeboom went coast to coast to slot past Motte for his side's fourth 59 seconds into the game, giving them some breathing space. Guillaume Gauthier then sloted home a rebound at 42:14 to put Clan 5-2 ahead and almost out of sight.

Coventry pushed for an equaliser but found Starrett in fine from as they held on to the win. The only sour point of the final period was CJ Motte leaving the game after contact in his crease, being replaced by Jordan Hedley for the final 12:15 of the game, as the Blaze went down 5-2 on their own ice.
