Tonight: Flyers hoping to stay strong at home against inconsistent Giants

Fife host Belfast for the third time this season in what is the first Premier Sports Elite League fixture between the two teams of 2021/22.

While the Giants won both cup matches, the Flyers have been excellent at home of late and have slowly begun turning their Kirkcaldy rink into the fortress it has often been. Fife have won five of six home games since losing to the Giants in the cup on 8 October. Their impressive record gets better when noting that they've scored 29 goals in those games and conceded just seven with three shutouts. Up top, Michael McNicholas leads the league with 18 points overall, and both he and Greg Chase are themselves on seven-game point streaks each.

The midweek defeat in Glasgow was a blemish on the Flyers' recent run after notching their first four-point weekend of the season in Week 10.

Belfast head into Fife wounded from two defeats last weekend, and Adam Keefe calling for some of his players to "step up" in his post-game interview. "Scoring two goals a game isn't enough in this league" said the Head Coach, who's seen his side go .500 on the road since late September. The Giants have won their last three visits to Fife, and ahead of going into Glasgow on Sunday they will be keen to regain group in the title race - especially with Cardiff and Sheffield playing each other.
