Statement from the Sheffield Steelers with regards to Anthony DeLuca:

At 5.30pm on Friday evening, the Sheffield Steelers were advised by Anthony DeLuca that he had failed an anti-doping test. Anthony has tested positive for a banned substance and is currently suspended with immediate effect.

No further comment will be made by the club.
