Manchester, Coventry, Dundee and Fife all going into league action this weekend trying to end or extend their own runs of form.

1900 Manchester Storm vs. Dundee Stars (Tickets | Webcast)
Sixth plays ninth in the early season Premier Sports Elite League standings when Manchester host Dundee for the second time this season, with both teams trying to end a six-game loss streak.

Storm picked up a point in the cup on Sunday but were eliminated from the competition after conceding an equaliser inside the final ten seconds, which came off the back of a disappointing home defeat to Guildford live on Premier Sports a night earlier. Those results put Manchester on a run of six straight losses, although they are 3&2 in their last five home games.

Dundee also earned a point in Nottingham last weekend after they were able to tie things up late, but a disappointing loss to Coventry 24 hours later also extended their run to six without a win.

1915 Fife Flyers vs. Coventry Blaze (Tickets | Webcast)
Fife welcome Coventry to Kirkcaldy hoping to continue an excellent turnaround in fortunes and continue their home winning streak.

The Flyers are three unbeaten on their own ice having scored 16 goals over that time and given up just one. Last weekend's impressive victory over Cardiff moved them into the top eight and has lifted spirits around the Fife ice arena after a difficult start to the season.

Coventry head into Scotland on their own winning run, two games after an excellent four-point weekend last time out. The Blaze have very quietly got themselves into a good league position, sitting fourth with nine points in just six games and the league's second-best points percentage at 75%. If CJ Motte is able to have anywhere near another 98% saves weekend, the Blaze will be very much in the top two come the end of Week 8.
